Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for a repair shop in San Mateo area. Looking to get a clutch job and possibly the IMS bearing upgrade. Thanks.

POST 2Original post

What constitutes the San Mateo area? Is Campbell close enough? If so, you can give Flintworks a call as it seems that Alden gets high marks from his customers.

POST 3Original post

I work in Redwood Shores ... looked for a shop close to here ... German Auto Kraft in Belmont did my PPI .. and seemed like a good shop - but not a 100% Porsche Specialist. I went to Tony Heyer in Mnt View for 1st service after reading this board (closer than Campbell) and was very impressed ...I know he does the IMS upgrades (will consider mine when I need to do the clutch) ... been doing only Porsche's for 20+ years and has every thing from classics to newer GT3's in his shop the few times I went past ....(can easily take train back to San Mateo to/fm there if you need)
