Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

9 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Doing some casual car shopping. I have a nice 2001 coupe: black on grey, no paint work, clean, all service records, no issues, 73k miles. I was offered $20,000 today, is that just generous or what!? I mean seriously, are they depreciating that rapidly?

POST 2Original post

Miles are always a factor but I am sure youre just getting lowballed- I would think that you could pull a min of 25K

POST 4Original post

I'd say with that mileage that it would be worth between 25-30K depending on condition and PPI. 20K is somebody trying to take candy from a baby.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I thought that was pretty low too. Car is nice, no problems - all service at dealer. One blemish on gas tank door that needs attention and a little curb rash on rear wheel. Paint is very nice, iinterior is good. Did the Black Book estimate and it produced: 2001 PORSCHE 911 CARRERA 2 $19,080 - $26,725

POST 6Original post

And if it was dealer that made the offer, they are wholesale buyer and retail seller, its not personal its business.

POST 7Original post

Why don't you add your Location to your profile, we would know if you're in a metro area and that would be a crazy lowball price. If you're in Fargo, ND, then that might be about right..... Private party sale in So Cal, I would say a bit under $30k right now, but there aren't a lot of buyers so you have to be patient in any case.

POST 9 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Never been to Fargo, interesting movie though. Located in St. Petersburg, Florida - plenty of Porsches & dealers in the area.
