Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Spent 5 hours yesterday detailing the interior, wash, polish, and wax the extrior. Next is a good wheel well cleaning. Boy could it be lowered...looks like a 4x4!

POST 2Original post

looks great James... but you are right on ride height! After I lowered mine I started to really notice how high the stock hieght is. give it time, you'll get er' done!

POST 6Original post

Looks great, but not crazy about the 2 inch lift you have on it.

POST 7Original post

Everytime I think European ride height I just go out and look at my driveway entrance. Sometimes a 4X4 comes in handy!

POST 8Original post

Looks ssslick. Haven't driven a Targa 996, how does it compare (you pic any 911 or two). How about some gratuity pics of the effect of the light in the interior while in the sun light? I saw them building a 997 targa and it is a sweet ride. Reagrds, p.s. You call that a lot of time? We have to do that often and happily here in Florida. Formerly the Land of Sunshine.

POST 10Original post

Looks great dude, looks like my car, few less rock chips in your front bumper than mine. I have the same ride height, seems to get lots of comments at DE's

POST 12Original post

Lowering is mandatory on Targa's especially since it is top heavy and you run the same hazards as a SUV rolling at high speed turns.

POST 13Original post

She looks great. I've thought about lowering mine as well, just hadn't got around to it. Waiting for shocks to need changing too, then just gonna do all at once. How in the hell do you keep that front end chip-less..
