Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hey guys. I ordered GT 3 Sways for my car but didnt know what bushings to get. There are 3 sizes for the rear 18.7..19.8...20.9 what size do I need with a stock suspension. And what does the different size bushings mean?
The correct part numbers for the bushings to fit the thicker GT3 sway bars were posted several times, so search is your friend.
Here's one of the threads (post #48):
https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ay+bars&page=4
Front: Stabiliser mounting (bushing): 996 343 792 16 (need 2)
Rear: Stabiliser mounting (bushing): 996 333 792 21 (need 2)
The different sizes are for different sway bars; to my knowledge there are at least three different thick sway bars around: Carrera stock suspension, sport suspension and GT3. The rubber bushings go around the bar and hold it to the underbody of the car (fixed by 2 re-usable clamps on each axle).
Thanks Ira. Paragon is selling the sways and bushings included for $327.81. Sunset quoted me $500+ for sways only. This way, I don't have to worry about bushing spec and save $$
Not sure why you're quote is so high. I bought the GT3 swaybars and bushings from Sunset Imports for the following:
GT3 sway bars
front 140.35 and 6.24 each for bushings (x2)
rear 116.68 and 7.65 each for bushings (x2)
Total 248.81
Jeff even worked with me with the shipping.
I dunno. This was a week ago:
On quote 40208. The front bar is 249.40 and all a week away except for one part I'll note. 2 links are 119.24 each, 2 front bushings are 6.58 each. Rear bar is 207.38, 2 bushings are 8.07 each, the links are 153.89 but are not available for me to order from Porsche. Could be a year away. I show a couple dealers with them in stock. If that's true I can get you their #'s and you can buy from them. Rear rotors 132.66 each, pads 251.14 for the set.
Depends on what you get, if all of it figure about 100.00 with sway bars and rotors in different boxes. Thanks, Jeff.

I just saw on 6speed that the prices went up. That sucks. I also noticed, that Jeff mentioned links. I saw these on the For Sale board.

The look pretty close to the TRG ones I have, and some of the board members that have them are pretty happy with them. I would have considered them and saved myself about $150 if I saw the for sale post earlier.
The guy with the drop links is Kevin aka "Insite". I was his guinea pig for the 996. They are well built and a great value imho. I was looking to source all the right parts myself and found his post on a racing forum on another site and connected. Highly recommended.
