Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was surprised the car decided the "+" was necessary...

POST 2Original post

Am i reading that odometer right. 132k miles???

POST 3Original post

Geez, I thought my 112,000 was high mileage. Thanks for the encouragement, I think I'll go for a drive this weekend.

Well that puts my 9 degree's to shame :-D.

Maybe it detected that the temp was on the "warm" side of zero degrees! Something like 0.1 degree.

POST 6Original post

Quotes source post: 4941418

Well that would make a big difference.... It was -17 degrees when I left the house this morning ..

Glass is half full. Very positive p-car.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yep, that's the mileage! The PO replaced the engine at about 106k - although it didn't actually fail. The old engine had the RMS replaced 7 or 8 times, so he thought failure was imminent. Otherwise, the car is in great shape and has many, many more miles in it.

Phil, by the time you are at 132K miles it will be 2059!!!

POST 12Original post

Quotes source post: 4942256

that certainly takes the wind out of the porsche sail

POST 13Original post

Quotes source post: 4946525

Yeah, I don't take that mileage as much of a reassurance. It was an $80k+ car--you can get a regular car to that kind of mileage with nothing more than oil changes and gas. It's unfortunate that his (and mine and everyone else's) car required two engines to make it as far as they did.
