Well I guess I will not be the top of your list because the cost of replacing perfectly functioning headlights is too much, that money is going to better use for track purposes....but I do understand where you are coming from.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

20 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, Firtly sorry if this has been posted elsewhere before but can one of the experts confirm if the following will fit on my 996 NB: 19x8 with an offset of ET 46 up front and 19x11 with ET 68 in the rear, the car is lowered and currently has spacers on all four, my guess is that the rear spacers will definitely need to be removed. I currently have Sport Designs on there with 15mm all the round. Thanks

POST 2Original post

Looks good! your factory offset up front is 50 on that 8" wheel so it would look like if you added a 4mm spacer. in the rear your factory offset is 65 on the 10" wheel so increasing the wheel (1/2" a side) and losing 3mm of offset you are actually GAINING ~10mm.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Dell! So to confirm I should go for a 4mm specer upfront to get the same look as what i have now and no spacers up back?

POST 4Original post

What are you doing with the Sport Designs ???

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

There pending sale, the cars been sitting in the garage so I'll need to spare up some time to get those off.

POST 6Original post

You don't need to add ANYTHING. The new wheels would look like your old wheels WITH spacers of 4mm up front and 9-10mm out back. Think of your new wheels like they have spacers built right in!

POST 7Original post

I think this is officially the SPEED YELLOW thread

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Excellent, once again Dell to the rescue, now to get those spacers off.... Yep SY rules and I hope to have a GT3 soon!

POST 9Original post

Already well on your way with the MkI GT3-look coupe! Excellent

POST 10Original post

spacers suck - u used them on your stock wheels cuz when lowered teh stock wheels tuck in like RV wheels. the whole reason why you should go for the champs is that fact that they really, truly fit with the wheel pushed out far toward the edges sans fender rubbage and they look good and they're quality wheels. you're going to have the best looking mk1 in my book on the forum with the 19" champs on.

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ben, you have one of the best looking C4S's on both 6 and here. Cheers for the compliments man and Dell again cheers for the input. Once the new wheels are on I'll post a some thoughts and pics.
