Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have replaced the brackets twice but they keep coming loose every time the plate gets touched.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Generation: 20261026T161109Z · outcome-qualification-6. Deterministic extraction; no AI model inference. How we use sources

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know that everyone is going to tell me to keep the plate off...I even have plugs for it. With that said I have dark tinted windows and I do not need another excuse for 5.0 to pull me over. My problem is that the stupid plate will not stay in. I have replaced the brackets twice but they keep coming loose every time the plate gets touched. Does anyone have a solution that would not involve duct tape?

POST 2Original post

Do you have the white nylon inserts? If so, they may be stripped to a point they won't hold any longer. Replacements can be had at your local hardware store. Might need slightly larger screws as well. Heresy, of course. But if you need help, hey, that's why we're here.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Maybe that is my problem...I do not think I have them. There appears to be 2 holes. the black brackets slide in then the screw expands the black brackets. So there is a white piece as well?
