Also, as a note, I found that my local Porsche dealer was charging an average of 125% of the Porsche published list price, them offered me a 10% discount, so I only would have paid 115% of the "list Price." Sunset uses the official price list and cost which averages 25%+ off list.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Where do you guys go to buy your Porsche parts for service?
I am going change my oil soon and frankly am thinking about doing a bunch of the minor service rituals myself. But, I don't know where to get the Porsche parts.
Do most of you order from Sunset or Suncoast, just drive on over to your dealer and buy the parts there, or mail order them from somewhere else? I need to start a new relationship soon.
Thanks.
Edward,
I vary between dealer, auto stores and Rennlist board sponsors. You shouldn't have any issues finding regular maintanence parts from your dealer but save your money and order online.
Sunset Porsche in Oregon sells for cost +15% plus shipping. I have bought alot of parts from them and haven't been able to beat their pricing. Go on-line and search for them, also you can call and talk to Jeff in parts, he handles the on-line ordering and is great. Suncoast is OK but be very aware of their " shipping" charges. I think they're excessive in most cases. Shop and compare. Their price may seem cheaper, but always add shipping when comparing with another prices.
Sunset almost all of the time now, though Brandywine occasionally has some really good specials. Also check out the adds in Excellence for sales and specials.
I also look in Excellence for the specials. I have used Suncoast, Sunset and Brandywine. If you are sure of what exactly you need sometimes Brandywine and Departstop(?) have some deals on ebay. Don't forget to check out our sponsors too.
