Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Sitting on a plane to Los Angeles to pick up the new baby today. Ppi came out great and I got an awesome deal-feel like I stole her. I'll be driving back to San Fran with her after a stop at the bank. Will post pixs and details once we are home!
Ok guys... It's coming... It's coming... Had a good and bad day all at once... Nice drive though.. Let me get into the details on the car.. 02 Carrera 2 with 55k on the car. Bought from second owner (friend) who had the car the past 6 years (he purchased the car with 25k miles on it).
Wow, car looks beautiful, and what a great deal you got. And maybe with the issue you had, u can address that and bearing /clutch. I have same color but in a 99 cabrio.
Good luck mike
Congratulations but we seriously need pics, details and a trip report.
I picked up my new ride last Friday, 1 week and we are still in love.........or is it lust?
Congratulations... and way to be a man about the necessary repairs.
When buying a used performance car you can be as cautious as hell and still miss something. No reason for hand-wringing once the deal is done. These things are expensive to repair and you have to be ready for that.
enjoy your new car they are truly amazing!it looks like its midnight blue ,one of my favorite colors a little diff to keep perfect as dark colors show all imperfections.as far as upgrades go,hold on to your hat!there are many, some better than others, and you will find alot of opinions here on rennlist.take everything with a grain of salt,do your research, but beware once it starts its hard to stop! lol porsche fever in full effect!
That looks like a great deal on your 02 with low miles. Glad you prepared about the unexpected repairs. Hey, at the end of the day its a 9 yea old car so things tend to wear out, right?
Enjoy in good health! and for many many more miles
Might try cleaning the clutch plates off with a little inovative idea like slipping it a little. Some would say the IMS is leaking onto the clutch plates but I wont.
Soooooo
let us first be clear on diagnostic terminology of your problem for trouble shooting. Is it the clutch pedal pulses or your feel a vibration and you can hear it in the rear of the car, or is it chattering like you are in too low of a gear? I would look at the problem as possibly the clutch is going but I'd first take a shot at the more power slow engagement to hopefully bust off any possible junk on the plates. Although a trick of the old days was to throw some dirt into the flywheel area so that a set of burned up clutch plates would engage it just isn't possible with the porsche to do that.
You are saying the car is already in gear as you let the clutch out? Don't move to engage the gears while letting out the clutch like you wrote above
When the clutch is depressed ie pedal to the floor, what do you feel and hear?
What do you feel when putting the car into gears? Is it hard to get to the next gear?
What rpm's and speed are you at?
Nice car you got except for the uh um fried and blown up clutch plates from his teenage daughter or son showing off to friends
Enjoy!!!
