This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am going to be taking my first DE event in April. I am looking into 3M clear bra, but have read that it has a slight yellow color. Seeing that my car is Arctic Silver, I don't want it to appear as two colors. I had read in a previous thread that Venture Shield is one step above 3M, and is clearer. For those that already have either, how satisfied are you with the product(s) and who did the install(would you recommend your installer?).
Also, what is the maintenance of these coatings?
I had the 3M install on my Carrara White last Fall with no yellowing so far. The best shop on Long Island seems to be Detailing Dynamics in Mineola, [phone removed]. Speak to either Ed or Matt and they will answer all your questions. I have no affiliation, just a very satisfied customer. I know that is has saved the front end and wheel openings from many stone chips. No extra care required, just normal waxing.

I take it your satisfied with "the look", in speaking with my mechanic, he says that it does give a slightly plastic look. Do you find that, or the seems, objectionable?
The shop I mentioned does a "wrap" install. The headlights and driving lights are removed and the edges of the film are wrapped, therefore, no cutting on the surface of the paint. The edges are invisible that way. Do not let an installer trim the edges of the film on the surface of the car. The razor blade cuts into the surface of the paint if the edges are not wrapped. If the film is ever removed you will see cut marks in the paint. You can not see the film as much when it is wrapped. Some people will say they can see it, but it is so hard to detect that I think it is arguable. In any event, it has saved my bumper from many stone chips. My previous Carrera was Lapis Blue without any film and I had to do a lot of paint touchup from stone chips. Good luck in your decision.
