Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Use 3 years no problems' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use 3 years no problems' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

A lot of guys don't like the step lip as they aren't as "blingy" as the reverse. Its totally a personal preference. I have the best of both worlds with each car. You just have to worry about rain with a reverse lip (as so I have heard on the boards) with water settling and getting a nasty vibration. I have had my K18's to the track and everywhere else without any issues at all. Here are some pics of them on my car.

What?
water?
vibration??? - I never of such of thing
Things are good Alex...thanks for asking.
Yes, reverse lip vibraion while driving in the rain. Water accumulates in the wheel well...and causes a vibration. I think there might have been a thread or two on it....look for HRE. Not sure it's exclusive to HRE or not...but I will tell you my experience....I never noticed it in the rain. I suppose I drove fast enough for the water to not accumulate.
Love those wheels! Those are the R's. Nice flat lips. I almost bought them, if it werent for the

Here's the thread. Good luck.

Wow! I never knew it would do that. I guess when the water gets trap in that centrifugal rotation, its like lead weight that unbalances the wheels!! I learn something new everyday. Thanx
i actually like the full look of the stepped lip and find the reverse lip a little too flat. you can't see it nearly as well rolling as the stepped lip. but yea, beauty eye beholder
with that said, the OZ Superleggera III wheels have the flat lip, but do not have the issue with vibration in the rain. living in seattle, ask me how i know this.
why? because OZ actually manufacturers their rim and center parts and designs all that **** in house whereas kinesis, HRE, asanti, iForged, what have you source their stuff from a vendor whereupon you don't have nearly the qc as OZ/BBS or say fikse who do all their stuff in -house.
plus, kinesis was sold to lexani. u need to check out their new ads. def a diff focus now. good or bad who cares.
