Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Time for some comic relief- So this guy says his Chevy Cavalier smoked a 911 Turbo <click here>

POST 2Original post

That is TOTAL BS - I read a little bit more of that thread, and the idiot racer is trying to convince these poor blokes on the board that it was actually a Turbo that he beat (not to mention the Lightning and Cobra that he beat)!! A somewhat wiser Cavalier owner does a beautiful reaming of this guy and says how it would be all but impossible for him to beat a turbo no matter what mods he has on the Cav. Then the idiot comes back with the dumbest response in the world - you can totally tell he's making up these lies as he goes along. He sounds like a 12 year old. I would say we should take a trip over to the board and set them straight, but I would feel stupid trying to defend my Turbo over his Cav. If nothing else, it is good entertainment.

POST 3Original post

I got a kick out of the thread as well. We have to bear in mind that most of these guys are barely teenagers. In other words, they think they know it all and try to impress that same belief on their forum peers. I enjoyed the parts of the thread where they debate whether Carrera's are turbo's and what does the script mean if it says 911 versus saying Carrera. A little more research on their part would go a long way. In a nutshell...the kid is lying through his teeth or just doesn't know what the heck he was "racing" against (turbo vs. NA).

POST 4Original post

Reading that tread was like watching a trainwreck, or, is it trayn reck?! Hell, Fox ought to make a series out of it.

POST 6Original post

Yeah, but do you love the BS flag smilie they get over there? Is this close? Nice Kill! OMG...

POST 7Original post

LOL If he had something to back it up with, ok. I used to race all kinds of stuff with my pick up back in the early 80's. It was a Dakota with 400+ hp. It actually ran low 12's and suprised alot of people, but it was quite obvious it was fast. A cavalier doing 11's.... doubtful withotu major work.
