Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used extra long screws from the plate holder through the grill to a 4x 18piece of rubber behind the grill to fasten the screws.

Yes, I used your write-up on the turbo bumper install, thanks.

My temp appears to be running slightly higher than usual but its been very hot here in northern VA.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I just purchased a Porsche turbo bumper off eBay for $300 plus $100 shipping. The bumper came with the C4S spoiler, all grilles and clear bra. There are no stone chips and factory paint is in excellent condition. Take a look…

With front plate.
Looks very nice. How did you attach the plate down low like that? Now that I live in Colorado, we have to put front plates on (Indidna did not), and I don't like the factory plate bracket too much.
I used extra long screws from the plate holder through the grill to a 4x 18piece of rubber behind the grill to fasten the screws.
The turbo bumper was fitted to a 2002 996 C2 CAB. The turbo bumper is a perfect fit onto narrow body 996s. Since the narrow body does not have the third radiator you will need bracket extensions for the bottom. I used a 4x 32 peace of rubber.
Last week there where two black one's on eBay, I got one the other went for less. I was surprised that both went for under $300. I thought for sure people would start driving the price up like on the 996s windscreens. I have been looking for a turbo bumper all year, all were priced from 650-1500$. And these were without spoiler and grills.
I got a speed yellow a couple of years ago. The bumper was pristine and the color matched perfectly! The aerodynamics are the same as the carrera4S or the anniversary edition with the small, rear spoiler...

You may not believe it, but it's not a turbo bumper. It's actually a C4S bumper and the reason I can tell is that the lower skirt of the turbo goes straight across and the C4S bumper goes up in the middle, like yours.
Other than that, from what I understand and know, they are exactly the same. The reason the turbo front lip is straight is because of the aerodynamics (and it's the top speed aerodynamics of a C4S vs. a turbo which is something like 174mph vs. 190mph - does it really matter?!?!?)
Close: This is a Turbo bumper with a C4S Spoiler. The center grill is open unlike the C4S that has a mesh back ground. But this could have been swapped out also. Anyway the spoiler was not in the pictures when first viewed and I was expecting the turbo spoiler. I was very pleased to see the C4s since this is more to the Anniversary setup and C4s.
joel:
Yes, I used your write-up on the turbo bumper install, thanks. Did you totally close up all gaps under the bumper?
I did the center with a piece of rubber but there are air gaps under the radiators since the ducts are out.
My temp appears to be running slightly higher than usual but its been very hot here in northern VA.
I am looking to rework the air ducts to get more air pressure on the radiators.
