My info is Suncoast will decode the VIN for options (among other things) and do this for a fee. I've never used this service I'm just reporting what I recall when this subject came up a few weeks ago here (somewhere here).
Others report a dealer can do it whether for a fee or free I do not know. Depends I think upon your relationship with the dealer.
Just because there's some really good Iron Maiden on right now, and I love to decode, here we go...

A = Coupe (yup, no SUV, unless you consider the Macan a coupe)
A = Normally Aspirated (your Macan is not a Turbo, sorry)

99 = You own a 991, 993, 996, or 997 (sorry. not a Macan)
