Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Here is what I am running: H&R 14MM in front, 15MM in rear.
Leading evidence: 'Run h&r 14mm in front, 15mm in rear' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace after install' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I'm currently running the same set-up (well 15/15 or 15/17 I'm not exactly sure), I like the look and the handling seems about the same on the street.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

H&R 7mm in front and 14mm in rear with the stock C4S Turbo twist wheels. C4S doesn't come with std spacers unless you have the GT3 wheels or sport techno wheels IIRC.
I have this exact set of H&R spacers 7mm front and 14mm rear with appropriate longer bolts for sale ($125). I used to have these on my 996 cab but no longer need them since I have upgraded to the GT3 wheels. Please PM me if you are interrested. Cheers,
JDS, I only have a few pics on my laptop right now, showing the wheels. A lot of poeple here have them on their cars so if you do a search on GT3 wheels, you can see a lot of them on actual 996 C2 cars. They do fit perfect on NB 996. These are OEM wheels so Specs should be available every where, but from memory the basic Specs are:
18x8.5 et40 --> 235/40/ZR18 PS2
18x11 et63 --> 295/30/ZR18 PS2
I actually weighted these on my "crappy" scale before installing them on the car and the Front is 46.5 lbs and rear is 52 lbs even with tires. Compared with my OEM SD the front is 2 lbs heavier but rear is thre same.
Here is what I am running: H&R 14MM in front, 15MM in rear. I am happy with this setup. It's a nice improvement for something that dosen't break the bank.

hmmmm.... a tempting mod...
Botsy67, if the sale falls through I might be interested and Im local in Houston.
Anyone else with pics of a C4S with the 7/14 spacers?
_
No Better pics to post, however IMHO 7mm on a WB is too conservative for my taste.
15mm up front takes away from the look of the rear a bit, otherwise it sounds excessive, but it works.
Just to let everyone here know that I already sold my spacers/lugs set to another Rennlister already. I received couple of PM's and I sent back replies. FWIW, I really liked the wide-stand look of the 7/14mm spacers on my NB 996 especially from the rear and the overall handling improvement, it felt more stable at freeway speed. My avatar pic still shows the car with these spacers. Cheers...
I have a set of custom 17mm "donut" spacers for the rear. I made them to use with technos. Sold the wheels. Have these left .
They were cut on cnc , plain round disc with flange on face. Also have 10 Boothe 45mm chrome lug bolts which are needed with them.
I made them to acheve a better look, than the standard bolt ons with 2 sets of lugs. Which look bad when you look down thru the wheel.
Spacers costed $100, bolts costed $140.
thanks. I think the 18" Turbo Twists II actually look beautiful. Unfortunately, their offsets are not low (aggressive) enough that they require some sort of spacers. GT2 wheels would be perfect.
thx Arnee -- I'll check them out though I'm partial to my TT's too - the contrast is just right with your car, my Polar Silver C4S wouldn't have the same pop with the Brombachers I'm afraid
