I am the second owner, I searched for the proper car for a year. My criteria was:
Had to have been sold by the Authorized dealer intially. I was
buying it from (Hoffmann Porsche in Danbury CT)
Had to have between 15K - 25K miles with all servicing performed at the selling dealership. (car had 18K when I bought it August 30th 2007 I wanted to make sure all possible issues that might surface in the first 15K miles had been addressed - car had no issues)
Had to be body "perfect" no paint or accident...(had to pass
paint meter test which it did/does)
Had to have PSM and various other options that the car has.
Had to have CPO check at the dealer
Had to have a full service at the dealer and new tires. (before
I took delivery)
Always garaged (then and now)
The car has never had an issue with RMS or any ther "usuall" issue associated with 996 ..
The car has not had the 30K service, I was told the by the
dealer the cost will be around $600-$800 ...
I priced the car accordingly...
