The articles are excellent (I'll even overlook the use of an 's' when a 'z' is called for) and do seem to target us 911 people and not Porsche in general.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The first issue of Total 911 magazine is now available in UK shops (including WHSmith and Tesco) and will be on sale in other countries very soon. You can also buy individual copies and subscriber onliine at

.
Total 911 is different because it's not produced by a big, faceless publishing company, but by a small band of 911 enthusiasts who really believe in what they're doing.
So please support us and pick up a copy or, even better, subscribe.
Many thanks
Phil, Rob, John and Kevin
Our North American brethren will be able to find T911 in Borders and Barnes & Noble - there's a story from Canada (written by a fellow Rennlister - thanks Alon!) and a nice feature on Willow Springs. My guess is that it should appear on shelves in a week or so.
We hope you enjoy it and want to say thanks to all of those who helped.
BTW, there's a nice 996 on the cover if that helps!!
Can't wait to see a copy! From the looks of your "preview" page on the total911 site it looks very well put together. I'll be on the lookout at my local Borders.
Please don't say 8-12 weeks, I never understood why it would take so long to get a subscription going.
If we could pull orders out of here in days then why should it take weeks to get a single magazine out the door..... ????
Please say NEXT WEEK...... "make riad happy"!!!!!

we saw a post on the 964 board - a subscriber in Chicago got his yesterday - so yours should be arriving anytime soon
Remember, if you like it tell a friend.
If you don't like it, quietly PM me so I can pay you to keep quiet!!! Just kidding!!
Oh, did I mention the 996 on the cover yet??
Was posted airmail on Monday, so I'd expect it to arrive within a few days of posting. Please let me know - it'll be useful to have a clear idea how long it takes. I know it has only taken a few days to Australia in the past...
Can I make a quick suggestion that soon after things take off, you should really investigate a US based subscription distribution model? With approximately US$50 just to cover airmail, that makes an annual subscription quite hefty.
My point exactly. I stated this in their initial thread a few weeks back about the debut of the magazine. With the exchange rate that is roughly $55 for shipping and $75 for the subcribtion puts the American subscriber at over $11 an issue.
Don't get me wrong, I think this will be a great mag but that is a large chunck of change to commit for a magazine on an intital launch. I will definitely pick one up at the local borders though when they arrive.
Hey Dell --
Sorry didn't read every post in detail -- sorry if I stated something you had already pointed out!
Has anyone found it at Borders in the US (specifically So Cal) yet?
Hey Led no biggie. I was just stating that I concur with you...not trying to point out that I already stated it. Sorry if it came out that way.........
I have been on the lookout at my local Borders with no luck yet
Guys
we hear ya! Its a PITA, but at the moment the options are limited. Slower mail (ie on a ship) is too slow for readers to be happy bunnies. We want to print in the US, but need to build readership so we can have a decent minimum print run. BUT, with enough US support, I am sure we will be able to print/distribute direct - after all its just 132 PDF files, at the end of the day!
Mine came in the mail today... good job. Magazine looks awesome, I was in a session all day today and haven't read them yet but the quality and pictures are very well done.
Rob
I went to Barnes and Noble and Borders today. The mag is not even on their incoming list yet. The store level knows nothing about it so it will probably be a while b4 it's in the stores
Overall, I'm very impressed with the magazine. The paper stock is very heavy and the photography is well done. The articles are excellent (I'll even overlook the use of an 's' when a 'z' is called for) and do seem to target us 911 people and not Porsche in general.
Looking forward to future issues.
Rob
I've got mine - it looks to be a quality publication, and the spelling is correct.
The front cover car is exactly like mine, except I have Sport Design wheels. Better photos than mine though!
