Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The purpose is my Canada delivery car has the Daytime running lights, when I remove the fuse (a double fuse that measures about 4" X 2") the DRL's go off, but so does the rear license plate lights.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Need someone to take a good picture of their 99-01 C2 fusebox (US delivery veh.) that is located next to or "behind" the one in the driverside footwell that has the wing/raise/lower button. The purpose is my Canada delivery car has the Daytime running lights, when I remove the fuse (a double fuse that measures about 4" X 2") the DRL's go off, but so does the rear license plate lights. I've discussed this before, and am trying to figure out if there is a "normal" fuse that controls the rear license lights ONLY and a "combo" fuse that does the license lights and DRL's that is installed in Canada models....... I can't imagine that Porsche would wire the car differently for US v. Canada cars, I think it must be a fuse. Make sense?????? See the pic

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Good lookin out on the pic..... but I need the pic of the fuse "box" located "up" and to the right of the one you show, its kind of behind the carpet a little and has the BIG fuses..... thx....

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes, perfect, thanks alot.... I am going to compare your pic to see if there are any differences in my fusebox.... maybe I can figure out the rear light thing, will let everyone know what I find. BTW, which way is top/bottom?

POST 6Original post

Just as it is.....top is top. I didn't rotate the pic. Good luck with the fix

POST 7Original post

Hey thats my pic on top...i require written permission for you to use it..!!!!!!!!JK its amazing how my car is all over the net!l I could have saved you some time as i have already went thru it..

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah I jacked your pic, whatchoo gonna do? Actually, I saw your thread about the DRL's (disable by removing the above fuse) but there was no mention of a rear license plate light fix.... I searched, and searched.... any advice to get the license lights on, but keep the DRL's off????? THX RVP
