Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Possibly thinking of going this route, however, I use hand controls also.

That looks good but I would want to use a wheel with the airbag
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Possibly thinking of going this route, however, I use hand controls also. One lever works both throttle and brakes. This paddle stsyem is from Japan and I think uses reg OEM steering wheel??) QUESTION: Can you stay on the throttle and bang up gears... or.. do you have to blip the throttle like on a manual trans to shift. Reason is.. the hand controls are stiff and NOT FAST Action. I'm thinking it might be hard to get on and off throttle quickly to make a paddle shift , maybe in the Tiptronic... no need to blip... just bang it in?? Any thoughts or knowledge helpful. Buzz
Don't all tiptronics have the shift buttons on the wheel already? If not please excuse my ignorance I have not seen many.
There are also these

As far as all Tips with buttons... yeah, that was what I though. However, with my hand controls, I think these larger paddle shifters after market might work better, Thanks for your link Buzz. This might work well...
assuming you don't want to short shift, 2001+ turbos and all 2002+ tips upshift right at 7200rpm faster than any human can consistently, so the paddles are a non issue for up. The other trick is left foot brake prior to entry and stab the throttle, the trans will grab the lowest gear it can without revving over, literally it will skip shift from 5th to 1st if you are so inclined. Again, faster than you ever could, faster than most sequential shift helical boxes, and in this unique circumstance faster than most dual clutch automated manual (because they preselect gears sequentially they don't handle skip shift's like that too well, although I hear that's much improved in the current generation)
Go drive one. Make it a turbo.
Sorry, I sort of kind of have two similar, although slightly different posts. But... Here is the whole kit from Japan. I think its pretty tidy package.
The thought never crossed my mind... but great point. I know there are at least a few options now, and more moving into the market, I would guess. I will look for something with a balloon in the system. thanks.
