Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Run 32/f and 35/r if' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Run 32/f and 35/r if' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

WHAT ARE THE PRO AND CONS OF PUTTING ON THIS PACKAGE?, ON A 02 CAB THAT DRIVES IN SO. CAL. REC'D GIFT FROM CHRISTMAS AND NOT SURE I SHOULD PUT IT ON MY CAR .LIKE THE IDEA OF A LITTLE LOWER AND A MORE FIRM. HAVE HEARD THAT X74 IS TO STIFF FOR CAB'S BETTER FOR COUPE'S.CAN ANYONE HELPWITH SOME INFO ,THANKS
I had made the decision to put X74 on my 04 Targa after much research and debate and was waiting for Gert to get stock in (but traded it first for a 997S). The only thing I was a little nervous about was ride height in L.A. but I finally decided it would not be a real problem, just something to be cautious about when driving over speed bumps, etc.
There are a number of reviews on X74 on Gert's website, here:

I had also talked to Gert at length, and he made a strong case for X74.
Be sure you have the correct version; the X74 is specific to coupes, cabs, and Targas, I think mainly because the springs are tuned slightly different for each model.
On my 40th, the car looks better, drives better, and no ride-issues. Scraped it once when I was having fun...kit really should have been standard on my car (Porsche could have kept the luggage). But I must say, if someone GAVE you this as a present, well, that's really cool! What a thoughtful gift...you can't disappoint them!!!
I too am debating between the x74 and the pss9 suspension. My car came with the cheapest/crappiest suspension. I dont think I have the M030 sports suspension bc I dont see it in my option sticker under the hood.
I won't be tracking the car that much but would like for a stiffer lower ride.. Should I go with the x74 or the pss9? What and where are the best prices around? And what are the differences between the two technology other then one is fully adjustable? They both look different that's for sure..
I'm running 32/f and 35/r if that makes any difference...
The X-74 is great much better than M-030 (less harsh car handleds better) and car looks more like it should because it is lower put it on you will be happy
Could someone give us a brief synopsis of the difference between pss9 and x74? I know that the PSS is adjustable, but does that mean by millimeters for track use or an inch if you are encountering too many speed bumps? Looking at past threads it looks like x 74 lowers the car by about 2 inches. Row lowers by 20mm. and PSS is adjustable by some unknown amount. I have heard pss is the best for track...., anyone out there have a good handle on all three systems and is willing to summarize it for us?
