Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Help anyone. I have a 1999 C4. I was doing my 60,000 mile tune up and was changing the Fuel Filter. I accidently broke the adapter from the fuel line hose ( the one from the car to the fuel filter). Does anyone know if there is a fix to this? Or does any one know what part number the fuel line is? Thanks for you help, i am stranded without my car.... As a FYI, never twist the fuel line with the filter, that is how it broke....

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks, but from the picture, the part should be (1) fuel line. The part I have is short but the one in the picture above is long (does it matter?). Also what is the difference between (1), (2), and (3). They all look like the part....

POST 4Original post

That I don't know. There are 3 lines which all apparently serve a different purpose and should be visible to you under the car. I haven't done a fuel filter change in my car so I can't speak from experience. Hopefully, one of the guys can chime in with experience changing it out.

If you have a C4 then your fuel filter is next to the coolant tank - correct? In Dell's diagram the parts labeled "M 339" are specific for C4.

yes, c4 filter is by the coolant tank
