Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that contain suggestions
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
To use your analogy correctly, it would be akin to someone kidnapping your woman and then you decide you'd rather forget about her and find someone new.
Leading evidence: 'Use analogy correctly' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use analogy correctly' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

talk to carbon_00 on this one. he has 2 of his cars stolen from my area and 1 had a boomerang. pros: discourages theives and will aid recovery of the car.
It will probably take the most professional of theives to get around one. But if they're that professional you ahve to report the car quickly before they can get it to their chop shop or shipping container and yank out the system.
Omar,
I agree. It's probably more of a deterent than anything else; if they want it, they'll get it no matter what. Maybe just invest in $.50 stickers that say it has a tracking system.
I have one of those installed on my car, but there are no stickers anywhere that would let anyone know that I have it. I think it's worth having. Cars are stolen every minute of everyday. I just hope I find out in time to notify the police to track it.
Actually, it's nothing like that at all. To use your analogy correctly, it would be akin to someone kidnapping your woman and then you decide you'd rather forget about her and find someone new.
Please steal my car, I would be alittle pissed but I would get over it real quick!, I dont have a tracking system, but here in Canada you could get a break on your insurance bills.
X5 got stolen after only 60 days (only had 1100 miles on it). Now I don't get a car without one. Both my 330i and my p-car have LoJack early warning.
Even if LoJack is worthless, it's a small price for peace of mind...
