hehe.that's awsome.. it seems that the car enthusiast community is a pretty connected world. everywhere i go it seems that someone knows someone else who knows so and so. That Z06 was very quick, even in the rain despite traction issues.

apparently camshafts are the 996's best kept secret and can yeild large power gains when tuned properly. they're pricey (2200$ US for FVD cams)...but prolly the best way to get some good power numbers without FI. i doubt we're gonna find some specific numbers because the guys who usually do cams are racers, and their guarding their secrets very closly to keep their edge over the other guy.

Cams are what Porsche uses in the Powerkit, and they get solid gains with those. The price is just too much $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$44.

Omar I know this is an old thread, but whom can we talk to about the cams upgrade. I think I may keep the car, regardless of what else is on the horizon. I would love to put the car on a diet and get some power. I am thinking if I keep the car, I will charge it and cams. Lets talk about it
