Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I always like seeing how low the digital thermometer goes... This is the coldest I've seen so far this winter, and year (it's the first time I've driven it in the New Year!)

POST 2Original post

I always like seeing how high the digital mileage number goes. Original engine in your car?

POST 3Original post

About -30-37F is where the circuit goes "south". Simple way to find out is to unplug the thermister to create an "infinite", reference, voltage sensing level.

No, the previous owner changed the engine at 105k. I got the car shortly after that.

POST 5Original post

Reminds me of one of my favorite line from Planes, Trains, and Automobiles - "How cold do you think it is out here?" "I don't know...1?"

POST 6Original post

On the way to work today I had 4 degrees reading..love my 996 with 117k

A lot of great lines from that movie... "He says we're going the wrong way." "How does he know where we're going?" And, of course: "Where's your hand?" "Right here." "No. Your other hand." "Between two pillows."

POST 8Original post

When I pulled into the parking lot at Keystone last Thursday, it was -17 deg. When we left at 11am (full-on sun all day) it had warmed to -5 degrees. Yesterday I bought a down jacket.

Jim how was the snow? -Randy

POST 10Original post

They coolest I have had her out in is 3. Finally picked up some snow tires... the Mud+Snow versions are just not quite enough to get up the driveway if my timing is bad and my wife glazes it first with her tires. So you have me to thank if we get no more snow the rest of the year... Murphy's law and all that. Which is fine with me, as a new orbital polisher and some sweet smelling polish is waiting for warmness.
