Suggestion

Don't forget to re-torque all suspension parts at least every 10,000 miles or you will literally shake that suspension to pieces running 19s on a 996.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Does anyone have any knowledge of this brand? Any input?

POST 2Original post

I like the quality and the look, the price is not too bad either.

POST 3Original post

question: sizes seem odd (probably not a good combo if these widths are correct) 19x8.5 25.7 lbs 19x9.5 27.35 lbs Wheel dynamics is selling a similar looking set with an 11 inch rear

POST 4Original post

Quotes source post: 7633646

The sizes above look like Cayman or Boxster sizes; What are the backspace measurements? 11 inch rear...much better for 996's. Weights are also indicative of more bling than performance....... I'd buy them for a bargain wheel....they do look nice.........

POST 5Original post

Very similiar to OEM 19's weights, wheel dynamics posted that somewhere, If you are going to track the car fikse, bbs ect. in 18's would be the way to go. On a 996 cab. with a 3.4 engine I am not going to worry about 5lbs on each corner. The picture above is 19x8.5 and 19x11

POST 6Original post

nijoma, what are the backspace measurements on your 19's? thnx.

POST 7Original post

I can't speak for nijoma, but the wheels posted by wheel dynamics (not sure if they are the same make, but look the same) are as follows: 19X8.5 45ET & 19X11 40 OR 56ET 40 would be for wide 56 for narrow, however 56 is going to stick out a little, like adding a 7mm spacer to a gt3 wheel nijoma did you roll the rear fender? what tire are you running (make, model, section width, aspect ratio please)?

POST 8Original post

Here's some 19 inch weights and dimensions. Seems that the rears are too narrow (compared to usual fitment on the 997s). Look nice on the white car. POST 9Original post

The rears on my car in the picture are 19x11 and the weight is 28, so no different than stock really, not sure of the fronts but I would assume around 23lbs since it only an 8.5 x11
