What is the "NA" designation used by the original poster?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I have moved from my 2000 996NA Cab to this 2001 996 Turbo. I've loved my 996NA and I am sure that I am going to love this Turbo. Only 40k miles and a good PPI that uncovered a few small items that allowed me to get it for a very good price.
I appreciate all the support that I have received on this forum and will continue to be in touch.
Wow - it will be hard to miss that ride on the road. I'll keep and eye out. If you see a silver MkII coupe flashing its lights at you...that would be me.
Great looking ride!
Looks like the PO did tones of upgrades, GT2 front and wing...
Any other mods or upgrades you know about?
+ 1 on logical move for 996 owners...
Being an open-top guy I've lustred for a 996 turbo cab since they launched it... So that will probably be my next ride in a couple of years time....
For those of you asking what's been done to the car:
- TechArt style GT2 body kit
- HRE 19" wheels, Pilot Sports
- ECU flashed to 1 bar boost
- lowered
Comparison to the NA996 C2: The steering feels a bit heavier because of the AWD. The ride is surprisingly good considering that it has been lowered. Feels more solid than my Cab.
And h**y s**t it is fast. I've never driven anything like it before and I have had some fast cars. When boost comes on its like being fired from a catapult. The only problem is that you get up to ridiculous speeds so quickly and you still have all these gears to go and you want to keep going but if you get caught they are going to take your car away so you have so slow down again.
Yes, the Turbo is the natural progression from the NA996. Everything you love about your car now plus a rocket under the hood.
