Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Looking for help identifying these hoses. Changing plugs today and dropped the exhaust on the driver's side. This hose was hanging over the exhaust not connected to anything: This was also hanging by the coils. Looks like either a vacuum line or a vent hose (hoping vent). Any idea what these are??

POST 2Original post

There are drain hoses hanging down from the lip around the engine lid going down next to the mufflers to let water drain down. I believe that's what you see in the third picture. I'm not sure about the first 2.

POST 3Original post

The first two look like the vacuum lines to the Sports Exhaust valve actuator...but only if you have PSE?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Previous owner changed to aftermarket exhaust. I guess I had PSE before. That makes sense. Drain line also makes sense. Thanks!
