Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

36 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm trying to chose between these new rims. Like to see you guys' opinion. Thanks all

POST 2Original post

Neither but if I had to choose then the silver, but again neither and the brand I do not recognize. But first what car do you have? as you better make sure that if you set your heart on a set of wheels they come in the size for your car specifically the off-set.

POST 3Original post

Design is too busy for my taste, but given the two choices, I would choose the silver wheels.

POST 4Original post

Gold, but too much lip up front, better check offset

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The wheel company is Auto Art. All the wheels they make are 3 pieced forged, and made to order. They are a newer company. The car that they are going on is the car seen in the pic, I just photoshopped the wheels onto it to see what they look like.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

By the way this is what they look like, non photo shopped.

POST 7Original post

So how much do they weigh? What size are you looking at (18's or 19's)? Are you going to lower your car? Is it a DD car? Are you going to track it? I know a lot of questions but you should consider everything. Have you shopped around with other manufacturers? BTW...lower picture is on a wide-body so they will look different with the wider lip in back than your car. Still get the silver....gold is fugly IMHO

POST 8Original post

auto art is actually a pretty decent value brand. the ones above are classic BBS Y spoke center replicas and they do look pretty darn sweet. too busy? do you guys realize how close the 911 is meshed with that BBS center mesh design? you even have the factory sport design wheels made by BBS with the very same style Y spoke centers. i say go for it so long as fitment is spot on. else if you can scrounge up some extra dough, go for the Work VS-XX wheels for a bit better brand bling and quality with guaranteed good fitment. that black turbo looks siq with those wheels.

POST 9Original post

Silver by a mile. Gold doesn't go with white, or the grey interior!

POST 10Original post

What he said. Wonder what they would look like with a white center? Nice wheels though. Stefan

POST 11Original post

Silver. I like the look on the non-photoshopped car. The photoshopped photos look funny.

POST 12Original post

autoart are heavy wheel, 30-32lbs, they are @same price with work wheels, Work are slightly lighter, but not much.

POST 13Original post

Damn that is heavy especially for 3-piece forged...must be forged iron with steel re-inforcements I would pass on them then if it was me

POST 14Original post

They are great for street use... The weights are for 19" x 11"

POST 17Original post

Go with silver. The gold looks like a Lexus color combo. I would echo SpeedDemon's sentiments on weight. Depends on if you're tracking or flossing.

POST 18Original post

Silver P.S. The 80's called and they would like the Gold wheels back....

POST 20Original post

Those wheels refinished in a dark grey would look great on that car, me thinks..

POST 21Original post

I would go with the silver ones on your white car , i have gold on my car but its black and i like it...alot...

POST 22Original post

+1 for silver +2 for grey if possible +3 for black if possible I have to agree the gold is from the 80's - reminds me of my first vw with gold rims

POST 23Original post

I have honestly yet to see a set of these wheels that look better than what comes on the car. I would not put gold on it unless I was going for the 1988 Trans Am GTA look. I guess of those I would go with the silver one, but really I think I would save my money and get some OEM 19inch sport designs or something.

POST 25Original post

BTW - Mr. T called and said he wants his belt buckle back!

POST 26Original post

Well said Tim. A perfect picture! I was personally thinking that if the gold was chosen, then maybe showtimelinh should get the Corvette to got with them.

POST 28Original post

I thought you guys might get a kick out of that one! I was chuckling while I was putting that one together.

POST 31Original post

Silver. I have the Work VS-XX wheels so I like the style.

POST 33Original post

Before my P Car (and a few others) here is my '80s Maxima w/the Gold Kit.

POST 34Original post

Definitely the silver... unless you have gold teeth, then get the rims to match your grill.

POST 36Original post

That size and color sure would look good on a white Porsche
