Is there a way to adjust the idle up, or is that also computer controlled?

Any idea on how easy it is to replace an oil pressure sensor on a 911?
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

As soon as you blip the throttle, it goes back to normal.
After driving rather hard and when coming to a rapid stop, my oil pressure drops below the number 1 bar and the low oil pressure light comes on. As soon as you blip the throttle, it goes back to normal. This use to occur mostly when coming to a rapid stop on a downslope. Now, as of today, it is starting to do the same thing when stopping on a flat.
The car is a 2002 C2 with 35000 miles. The oil pressure while driving appears normal between 3.5 to 5 bar. The oil level is kept about 2 bars down from the top of the electronic oil level indicator. The outside air temperature today was 100 degrees.
If this were any other car that I own, I would simply adjust the idle up a little. But not knowing a whole lot about this particular vehicle, I am curious as to what people think might be the problem?
Any and all help on this matter will be gladly received.
Thanks,
Tom L

Anyone at all have any thoughts on my problem???
Is there a way to adjust the idle up, or is that also computer controlled?
Anyone experience the same problem with their car???
Thanks in advance.

I had this problem with my old engine but not this one. Mostly when it was hot out and then I would stop at the end of a canyon road (driving speed limit of course) the light would come on.
I was told it was a common thing with the 996 by a few people and not to worry about. This was not the reason the engine failed.
99firehawk,
Thanks for the info. Any idea on how easy it is to replace an oil pressure sensor on a 911?
JC3D,
The problem occurs when it is hot outside and I am getting on it. I only drive this car in the canyons and at the posted speed limit. The sign reads 35 mph turn ahead X 2 = 70 mph. And yes, it happens when coming to a quick stop off of high speed driving. Sometimes it will do it when turning around on a hill at idle or a little above idle.
I would like to find a fix for it, if there is one?????

I follow a similar logic finding the correct and safe speed limit. Unfortunately, my engine went because a stupid $3 plug came out and I never got around to figuring it out. My new engine hasn't had the same issue yet. Sorry I'm not as much help, but I have had your exact same problem so it's not just you.
