Yesterday, 4 Porsche friends and I met up at the Hurricane PCA's car show in Brier Creek (sorry, forgot to take photos of the incredible cars there). Afterward, the 5 of us drove out to VIR, where we saw some incredible classic cars racing like in the good ol' days. We also enjoyed 30 minutes of charity laps with some of those unbelievable race cars. It was a unique opportunity to run with cars with which my humble 996 will never join on the track again. Thanks to Jeff, Mark, Martin and John for spending the day with me. Here are some photos. Enjoy! Bob

The white Carrera and the Ferrari were battling it out for most of the race - loved it. But, the Ford GT kicked everyone's butt. No one was even close at the end. The blue/white race car (make?) was on him for a couple laps, but it sounded like he was having transmission issues in the straight. Bob

I had the same. I told the guy how much I loved this car as a kid. It was beautiful.
