Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

15 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok guys One of my co-workers was telling me he has a bunch of 996/Boxster buddies that are tying to put togeather a meet at Crystal cove. They want to fill the lot with Porsches since there is usually only a few modified 996/TT/S's that show. On March 6th we are planning a Crystal cove meet we need as many 996 members to show as possible. In order to take the lions share of the lot we need to meet at 6-6:30 in the morning. I know this will be early for many of you but I gaurantee it will be well worth the inconvenience. We could probably do a run after the meet if any of you guys are up to it. Starts at 6AM sharp and breaks up at 9am. So there will be plenty of P-Cars to show and many other rare exotics. Let's start planning a list... What do you guys think?

POST 2Original post

They would not open the parking lot until 7 AM.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Are you saying the parking lot won't open until 7am? I did not know that please confirm so I can change the details. Thanks!

POST 4Original post

Yes. that is correct. They would not let you in until 7am. People line up around 6 6:30 am.

POST 5Original post

might be a good excuse for me to go visit the in-laws did i just say that?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

OK looks like we are lining up then at 6-630

POST 7Original post

I am curious.. where are they lining up at? I know that area and know the meet takes place every wkend and have a few buddies that have been. It's a large parking lot with a Starbucks.

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yes but they cone off only the designated area to park.

POST 9Original post

Would a lowly 993 owner be welcomed? How about a 993 with roll bar and race seats and belts? I'll even throw in a fire extinguisher

POST 10Original post

There is a lot of talk about CC at: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8744 Some up to date info on the latest 'rules'...

POST 11 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks for posting this very interesting and upsetting in the same breath. I will be there every week from now on to SING WITH MY PSE! Also yes please bring your P-Car and LOUD EXHAUST F-the home owners!

POST 12Original post

what happened this morning? this event is becoming a mere shadow of it's former self. the only silver lining was standing in line with dan gurney at starbucks...

POST 13 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

What do you mean? I have not been for over a month. I was going to go today but my car is still in the shop so... I will be there next weekend. I know from other posts many are boycotting the event because of the flack the Irvine company and those who live behind CC are giving. The two vendors open during the 6-9am hours are getting slammed because of the event so no complaints there right? I have heard others were complaining about the parking but we are out of there before the other stores open.

POST 14Original post

the turnout was meager. few exotics and fewer p-cars...i guess the boycott is in effect.

POST 15 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

That just sucks! I know the Ferrari guys are looking for a new spot. CC is the perfect location for this event before this event took place that shopping center was a ghost town. I beleive it has really drummed up a great deal of business for all of the stores over the past year.
