Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My intial impressions are very good and the exhaust is actually pretty sweet looking. Very nice welds and the craftsmanship just looks first rate. The exhaust note is VERY 993 like, which is what I wanted in the first place. It now sounds like a flat-six should sound! There is ZERO resonance inside the car regardless of RPM. The exhaust note is louder from the outside than it is from the inside. That doesn't mean you can't hear it, it just means that the overall "loudeness" is outside the car instead of inside the car. When I'm not getting on it, the exhaust is almost stock quiet. Once you get on it that all changes! After 4k and up to redline it sounds AWESOME! I found myself staying in a lower gear just so I could hear the exhaust more. There is a slight rumble at idle but nothing I think you would notice compared to stock. I've heard that this will change after about 500 miles or so along with the overall sound. After the install and driving it, I asked my buddy to take it for a spin up and down the street so I could hear the exhaust for myself... I LOVE IT! For those that might be curious about "just how loud is it?" I wouldn't want to be WOT in 2nd or 3rd gear and go by a cop.... it's that much different than the stock cans. It sounds awesome but it is louder and you will turn heads.
