Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I think now I would have used H&R now because I had good experience with them before.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

H&R springs from
www.turnermotorsports.com
, it cost around 340.00 for all 4 sides , and it says that it will drop the car 1" all around. give me your honest opinion ...
a) harsher ride,
b) bad decision
c) good choice of springs,
d) handle better,
also , can dealer install them for me?
right now, it has like 2 to 2.2 inch gap.

Check the price at tirerack.com I think its less. I have eibach on a 01 coupe. The reason why I didi not get H&R they said it lower 1.25" and I thought it might be too low. The eibachs supose to be 1". In retrospect I seen some H&R car and they look the same as my eibachs. As far as your questions the ride would be harsher but I think it would not be too harsh, it will handle better especially if you have standard suspension not the sport. I think now I would have used H&R now because I had good experience with them before. The other choice is the ROW m030 springs which you can't go wrong with the factory. Most places only sells the whole kit, but I know AJ USA sells them online( springs only). Anyone can install the springs, I recomend Johnson alignment in Torrance talk to Steve he sets up all of the autocross and racing guys. Look into the PSS9 coilovers I hear they are great but cost are about $2000
imo, there is no cheap shortcut to lowering a 996 by just doing springs. the row m030 will not lower it more than 3/4 of an inch. h&r and bilstein both make an excellent coilover system that will get you an inch or lower.
i have H&R springs on my car and i don't think the ride is any harsher than the stock springs. you definitely need to do the shocks too though. i'd recommend the bilstein HD units. my C4 is about 1" lower all around (maybe 1.25"), and it corners flatter and i love the lowered stance of it. the photo to the left is of the car with the H&Rs installed, and i think you can see pretty clearly it's lower than stock.
for daily driveability they're not a problem either. boston has notoriously bad roads, but my car is fine over all the bumps! the only thing that occassionally hits is the little plastic piece that sticks down in front of the front wheels. i'm not sure what the piece is for, but i'm guessing it's for aerodynamics to better form the air before it hits the tire and causes extra drag. but the piece is fine and it only has a couple of scratches on it. as for bottoming out an ramps, it's never been a problem. sure, you need to pay a little more attention when entering parking lots over the little sidewalk ramps, but i've never bottomed out! <knock on wood>
