This is not a probability of success.

Prior to that I had the car for about 3 months but it spent weeks being repaired during that period as well.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I'm at my limit with a local dealer over problems with my C4. After almost 2 years of waiting for my car to be fixed properly I've lost patience and I want to know what kind of options are available. Any suggestions for a good attorney would be appriciated. Thanks, Michael [email removed]

POST 2Original post

What is wrong with it? I am assuming it is Prestige? I have several clients that are law firms so I might be able to help.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Tim-- Yes this is Prestige. I'm just going to copy the problem from the origional thread as I'm getting tired of typing -- Sorry for being lazy. Any help is greatly appriciated! Hi I cannot say how much I hate to think about legal action. I'm an archaeologist and I have an enormous amount of patience but this has gone too far. I have endured two broken windshields (while at the shop), a blown engine (from not fixing a broken oil line 2x), a fender that shreds my front tire and a quarter window that will not stay in place. I've been told that the car is ready at least 10x and every time I go down to pick it up at least one of these things still has not been fixed properly. This is/was my daily driver for 7 years but I haven't been able to drive it for over a year straight. Prior to that I had the car for about 3 months but it spent weeks being repaired during that period as well. In their defense they did rebuild the engine but it took 5 months for them to realize that they had to do it. AAARRRGGGHHH!!! Sadly I'm ready to just be done with it. I think the worst part is the miles I'm putting on my defender 110 which is my true baby. Only 500 in NA so it's somewhat of a collectors item. quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Surely the workshop must agree that two years is beyond reasonable for you to tolerate the problem that they obviously created somehow... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I feel as if I should clarify that this started as an accident I had going around some deer and "kissing" a guardrail. The body work issues come from this and are covered under their warrenty. The oil line was cut by my wheel being pushed into the wheel well but they missed that during the repairs so I dumped the oil while driving. Took it back and they told me the oil came out through the oil dip stick tube and gave it back without repairing it. Dumped the oil again and ultimately blew the engine. I have certainly seen some unreasonable complaints Porsche owners and I hope I'm not being unreasonable in my anger.
