Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

28 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

It is with sadness and regret that I pass on the news to all of you that a P-Car driver got into a fatal crash last Saturday, here in the SF Bay Area. I personally saw this car at Santana Row(SR), just a few hours before the accident. Apparently, this crash occured at one of the group run/ride that took place after the SR get-together. Hope this serves as a timely reminder to all of us to drive safely. RIP to our fallen P-Car bro. POST 3Original post

True sadness. May God grant Luis eternal rest. I will keep him in my prayers the next few Sunday masses. -Manny

POST 6Original post

Unbelievably! I was following right behind him Saturday on 17 until he and the rest of the cars turned off onto 85. Godspeed Luis.

POST 7Original post

I saw his car and chatted a bit with him at SR last Saturday. Was shocked when I read the news on fchat. R.I.P. ... and a moment of silence for Luis.

POST 8Original post

Reposting from 993 board - Truly Tragic.. It is very sad. I knew Luis very well from San Fran as our shop worked on his car when I was out there. He was a great guy that I enjoyed seeing and chatting with when he would just stop by, or when I was out at the track. RIP my friend.....

POST 9Original post

Truly tragic indeed- anyone that knew him was always in for a good (and loud!) time. Some of us in the Bay Area are going to do something for him shortly so I'll keep you guys posted. For those of you that want to share your fond memories and pix of him, we're all doing so here: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=144181

POST 10Original post

Alex - Please let me know what you are thinking to do. I would certainly like to contribute. Funny thing. A number of times I would be driving down 101, and I would hear something loud and just could not see it. Turns out that it would be Luis's car either in front of me a LONG way ahead, or eventually coming up on me....

POST 12Original post

RIP. safety is almost comes first in my book..........

POST 13Original post

Wow. Remember gents, even with these great machines, we are mortal. Seems like a great loss.

POST 14Original post

Wow, I'm in shock. I saw Luis and his car just that day at SR. Hard to miss his car. I'm glad I chose to go on my own slow drive that day. R.I.P.

POST 15Original post

So sad. Did he leave a familiy behind? May he RIP.

POST 17Original post

Sad news, you hear this every now and then on these car forums...RIP We just don't know who could be next, just be safe in these speed machines.

POST 18Original post

This is so sad, especially for those who loved him. RIP May we all drive safer.

POST 19Original post

This is the saddest news I have ever seen on rennlist. Poor Luis. What in the world happened? Did the roof cave in on him? This has me considering a roll cage.

POST 20Original post

Very tragic to see him go. He was a great member, great person i'm sure and one of the most helpful rennlisters I've spoken to, infact i still have many of his PM's saved for their valuable info. R.I.P Luis

POST 22Original post

Godspeed to Luis, May He Rest in Peace.......

POST 23Original post

That is absolutely horrific. May he rest in peace. Stay safe out there guys.

POST 24Original post

Another reminder how fragile life is ... Scott

POST 25Original post

GODSPEED LUIS. Condolences to his family and friends.

POST 26Original post

Really SAD news. Luis and Gail were with us during the 4-30-2005 Rumble run. He was in his black 996 with no mufflers, and Gail in her Boxster. Luis is definitely a Bon vivant type. I saw (heard) him again at Santana Row a few times. You can always hear his car way before you see him. He will be missed. Rest in Peace Luis. CP
