I do track the car now (I use a Stable-energies harness guide) and I don't want to sacrifice the rear sets for the regular Porsche bar.

Hey guys, check this out: http://www3.us.porsche.com/isapi/eng...151&kat=Sport+ It does not have the cross or diagonal bars. I haven't seen this but was hoping that such a bar existed. Any suggestions for best place to purchase (other than Carnewal which only has the other tequipment bar)? Thanks

I had one but needed to have a center bar welded in ordetr to attach the harness. It did render the rear seats useless. I later removed it and call techart to see if they could build one for me with a removeable cross element and was told "not possible"... I see no option to install a harness in a 996 w/o sacrificing the rears seats... JM
