Isn't the headlight lens made of a polycarbonate thermoplastic like Lexan�? If so, it is a very strong material and may not need any protection.

Any of various brands under which 3M Scotchcal is sold (such as Armourfend) have a headlight protection kit, which consists of an adhesive-backed, clear film. Congrats on your new ride!

I suppose double protection isn't a bad idea, but it would be like wearing 2 c.. oh! Never mind!

I've got plenty of chips on mine. If you track it, it will happen. I tape 'em up every track event now. I just use vinyl elec. tape, so there's no residue.
