Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Guys Some people said, engine has to be removed in order to replace the coolant exp. tank? Is this true? I am going to service, they replaced the cap but it is still leaking, especially after long drive sounds like I have a bad tank, any recommendation? Thanks in advance Bill 00 Cab, Miami Beach, FL

POST 2Original post

No, the engine does not need to be removed for access to the expansion tank. They warrantied my tank about a year ago, the car was in and out of the shop in a few hours.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks Doug, I thought the same think, but than I remember some old postings mentioned engine removal anyway, I guess I am on my way to dealer very soon. Bill 00 Cab, Miami Beach, FL
