Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have an '03 that came with litronics and was wondering what is involved with going back with halogens? Is this possible? Plug and play? Wiring change? ( I don't have anything, bought car without them, trying to find the cheapest way to have headlights!)

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

^^ that might work if i was retrofitting, but I have no housings or lens or anything. Just wondering if it is a plug and play with halogens from litronics. and yeah, ive called a few salvage yards. these things are NOT cheap.

POST 5Original post

sorry I misread your first post, your car didn't come with headlights at all, thought you just had a 'dead' litronic.. Should be plug and play going to halogen, will need to remove the litronic harnesses which should just unplug and reveal the conventional harness... not sure if any warning lights ill be on the dash without reprogramming
