Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I saw a few used cars which clear bra removed on hood.

That being said, for the sake of conversation, let's assume djantlive and LVDell are wrong and replacing the clear bra doesn't address the issue.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

You will probly start to notice a difference in 4+ yrs of sun. However, if you ever remove yours, just put another one on and you'll never realize the difference.
No. I asked the same thing and made sure there is no UV protection so the paint will age all together. That said, I don't anticipate any visual noticeable differnce at all (not even 4+ years a dj stated).
Just ask the clearbra installer if the film has any UV protection in it and if he says yes....RUN.
I saw a few used cars which clear bra removed on hood. You can tell the color is slightly different. Any plastic will need to have plasticizer to be elastic and not dry, yellow or warp. Plasticizer blocks UV and that's what you apply to vinyl rear window on convertibles.
I would not hesitate to get a clear bra. Like I said, if it ever wears out, just put on a new one and you are good to go.
I must state up front that I'm a big time clear bra fan. I've had a clear bra on my last couple of cars and can't imagine not having a clear bra on any car I own. That being said, for the sake of conversation, let's assume djantlive and LVDell are wrong and replacing the clear bra doesn't address the issue. The worst case scenario is that you decide to re-paint your front end every 4 years or so. However, the front end is clean and free of nicks and chips between re-paintings. Isn't that better than tolerating nicks and chips and feeling a need to re-paint the car every 1-2 years? IMHO, the benefits of a clear bra FAR outweigh the potential downside.
No. I don't think its better than tolerating nicks and stone chips. I'd rather drive my car an enjoy it rather than try to protect it from tiny chips. IMO, I think they are kind of wimpy.
I agree with Jim. They almost all look like crap after a few years (on some colors they look like crap from day 1). I can live with a few chips and the occasional touch up.
You must have seen some bad installs then. But in the end, it's an addition to the car like tires and exhaust. Each person will choose based on what they like. It's an individual preference.
Those that have them, love me and those that don't have em will continue to bash them. Simple as that.
Jim, I am going to have your car clearbra'ed while you are asleep one night
