I am thinking about replacing my stock seats (MY02 C2 coupe, powered, memory, non-heated) with sport seats (also powered, memory, not sure if heated) out of a GT3.

I am thinking about replacing my stock seats (MY02 C2 coupe, powered, memory, non-heated) with sport seats (also powered, memory, not sure if heated) out of a GT3. I figure the 4 bolts will line up since both cars are 996's. On the electrical side, am I likely to have an easy time of it in terms of finding identical wiring harnesses, connectors, etc under each seat? Hoping just to "plug and play". Thanks.

You owe it to yourself to get heated seats. Nothing likre the bun warmer on, window down and the exhaust singing. When the weather is cool out. Bunwarmer sucks in summer.Seats should plug-n-play.

Not plug and play, at least for my 04 C2. I do not have heated seats and was trying to figure out a way to install them. What I found is that the wiring harnesses are not the same for cars that have the heated seats compaired to those that do not......

That would make sense. But if I go non-heated to non-heated, I'm assuming it would be a breeze........... or not........... ?
