I did use a 951 as a year round daily driver for 9 years, can I get a few man points for that??

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

OMG Crank up the volume! check out the pass at the 1:00 mark and one more because who can ever get enough!!

POST 2Original post

Cool, give me something to watch while the snow piles up later and I have to deal with the fact that "Porsche season" is officially over.

*****!! Oh, wait... did I say that out loud?

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

We have a Jan 9 "winter skills day" I will be going to Cant wait! should be more fun with summer tires on I was able to slide all the way onto the freeway Friday......then just in the middle of the fun, I had to stop for one of those metering lights ??? Fridays trip to work was rather spirited there was almost no traffic, ever turned the white line into a slalom coarse at 70 - when do my new sway bars come (lol)

Yes, yes you did... Too many damn cars to justify winter tires.. and why subject my Porsche's to the slop anyways I did use a 951 as a year round daily driver for 9 years, can I get a few man points for that?? maybe?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

951 is an awesome car, I rode in one a couple months back... really solid feel to it. +2 man points for that (sure we will find some deductions somewhere though)

Genuinely regret selling my last 951, I drove that car 170K miles, had 200K when I sold her to a Rennlister

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

If I can only have one P-car, its gonna be a 911, but if I could have 2.... 951 would be added! Beautiful looking car, looks like new in the picture.

I am at work today (Saturday) and needed a break, so I thought I would "stir the pot" a little! Seriously, I really don't blame you, especially if you have something else to drive during the NJ winter. Plus, there are too many other cars on the road whose drivers don't know how to drive correctly in wintery conditions.

POST 10Original post

Great vids looks like the track was well marked out or should I say side roads blocked off and marked. I had the problem when camping one time during off road rallye that ran into the night and they keep making a wrong turn into our camp site and around our tent and asking me and wifey where to go "God I hate trespassers" so I finally blocked the entrance with my RR because it think my wife was telling them to go the wrong way again to get back to the track. They say some are still out there trying to finish the race and this was a couple of years back.

POST 11Original post

Thanxs for posting the video. Track was closed here a few years back.

POST 12Original post

Thanks for the vids...nice sounds, great driving skills!

POST 13Original post

those are prob the best rally vids out there...... I dont know, but the 6gt3 seems alot more tossable than the 7gt3..... maybe its just me. Thanks for sharing Ed!

POST 14Original post

Looks like the 993 doesn't do that well on those tracks.... Granted it looked beautiful initially... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCu_I...layer_embedded

POST 15Original post

Lol, I have all those videos saved on my YouTube playlist ever since I saw them on another forum. Does anyone know how the hell I can get that sound on my lowly C2?? I mean those Konig cars have straight pipes I think, but everytime I hear a "regular" 911 with straight pipes, it sounds nothing like that...

Nice paint job, but a might too heavy/early on the gas. Luckily the concrete barrier saved some bone crunching for the spectaters.

POST 17Original post

Cool vids, thanks for posting. Started my day on a positive note, hearing those engines rev is music to my ears.

POST 18Original post

And when they're done with the rally they put the interior back in, take the mods off, put them on the dealer lots, CPO them and call it it a one owner, carfax certified car. So it pays to buy from a rennlister!
