Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

Hello guys.
I know these cars are totally differnet and hard to compare. The thing is that I love the feeling of driving a cabriolet, but in the same time I would like to have the power and the beautiful shape of a 993 Turbo.
So please help me. Which one is the better car, andy why?
And no, I cant afford a 996 Turbo Cab.
Thanks
Having owned a 2002 Cabriolet, I rarely put the top down (and I live in Florida). Go with the 993 Turbo, better resale, more smiles while accelerating, etc.
Cheers/John
Drive them both and then make your decision...they are totally different cars. Figure out what you want it for [daily driver? Weekend Toy? somewhere in between?], what you like about each car [Do you want a more raw experience or more of a sports/luxury car], do you care about depreciation, what is your budget, etc. Honestly both answers are right, you just need to make the decision for yourself which one is right. Of course I am partial to the 993, but that doesn't mean that choosing the 996 is the wrong choice....
I am struggling with the same question. I just love top down driving, but 300 or 320 hp just doesn't cut it for me.
So I am thinking at instead of buying a '02 C2 Cab or '01 TT coupe now, waiting another year and getting a new 997 S cab or '04 TT cab.
In your case, if you bought something and found out after awhile that you did the wrong thing and want the other, I would go 993 TT now, which will hold value better.
Of course the way out idea is paying a coach builder $30-35k to make a 993 TT cab......the market would be all yours!!
Or you can drop back to a 930 T cab for about $50k ('89 model).
