I wondered if it was the ignition, but that didn't seem likely since when I turn my key all the electrical and dash lights and stuff comes to life.

I was just beginning my drive home from work last night, and the engine just suddenly turned-off. I tried to restart it and it won't turnover, either. The starter isn't even getting any juice at all, but the battery still has power (climate control, radio, lights, etc all still have power). No alternater warning light was on or anything. No smoke or mechanical sounds that I noticed before it happened, and no leaks or anything obvious. I had a flatbed take it to Valley Porsche, which is just a couple miles away, and am waiting for them to take a look at it, and give me a diagnosis. What do you guys think it is?

It is not the ignition switch since other things come on, it wouldn't of shut the motor off. It isn't the solenoid on the starter, wouldn't shut the motor off either. I wonder if it is some kind of grounding issue?

That's what mine was, a loose ground wire. Some idiot mechanic had loosened it to change a spark plug

Blown fuse C1 (25A) will disable both the DME and the starter interlock relay.

hope thats minor for your sake. Mine happened similar to that and ended up costing a lot of $$ due to cracked cylinder and hydrolock. Good luck!!
