I finally got everything installed with the help of my friends at car toys. @ soundstream amps under the hood with a cap. for a little extra juice. We put to shallow 10" Kenwoods in the rear and it looks great and I can see fine out the back. It is nice to be able to use that wasted space. I have an alpine head unit and focal drivers up front- Cheers!

I have Soundstream amps (pair of TRA 560.2) in my Jeep. Those things are so clean and they rip! Must sound fantastic in the small confines of the Porsche. I was thinking of putting that setup in my C2 but was concerned about how much they weigh. Did you take the spare tire out? Do you know what the net weight gain was? Can you feel and difference in performance (i.e. acceleration, handling, braking)?

The amps and cap are just in front of the spare so i can still get it out and use it. That was one thing that I didnt want to mess with. It does sound incredible. I have been a huge fan of soundstream for about 15 years now. I really dont feel any difference in weight but I must have added at least 40lbs up front and that again in the back with the wood ect. I am very happy with it. Now I have a great excuse for performance upgrades because of the added weight!
