Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Typical options for the 40th Anniversary are/were:
M6K Natural Grey floor mat $115
P15 Comfort seats w/power package $1550
P16 Porsche communications mgt II $2680
680 Bose high end sound package $795
692 Remote CD changer (6 disc) $715
This car is unbelievable and a unique "bargain".
Cheers.
Some of the standard options:
"In the 40th Anniversary 911, you won't have to worry about a thing. Your special 911 comes with two exclusive leather suitcases, sized in medium and large, and both handmade of dark grey natural leather to match the car's interior and specially embossed."
Sport Seats were standard (but I have not seen a car with them).
GT Silver, power package for a total of 345 ponies... Turbo styled front bumper, sills,... Overall a very nice car with lots of goodies.
Your best bet is to find a dealer that still has a new one on his lot. I think porsche.com has a 'vehicle locator' that surveys all the porsche dealers in the land and tells what is in stock. I saw one on the lot of Newport Auto, Newport beach CA today. The dealers had a 17k incentive off the 90k list before the 997 came aboard. Buying one used may not get you that much off because early buyers paid +90k, an indication is

Other options added after purchase are exhaust and suspension. Do a search for elton, he posted some great pics of his lowered row 40th. If you wanted nav, get it as an option as it is cost cost prohibitive to add PCM after the fact.
good luck.
Really? Used PCM units go for $1000-3000, with dealer installation another grand because no one understands MOST systems. What information do you have, Tom?
I have the sports seats w/ silver painted backs that I love. Getting premature wear on the drivers side leather bolster where I slide in each day. Less then 10K miles and I am already worried about them tearing soon.. Any tips other then to not wear jeans?
Paid in the very low 70K range recently for mine. LOVE the car. Fantastic looks and performance all around. I like much better then the 997 I drove.
I slip in sideways and drop down rather than slide in. I had the wear problem with 2 other 911s with the comfort (usual) seats before and adopted this defensive technique years ago. No wear on these sports seats after 4500 miles. By the way, I've got Porsche crest logos in silver applied to the seat backs and its sweet as my kids would say. Good luck.
Well here they are. I picked up these 3 1/2 inch adhesive Porsche crests at the Mid Ohio ALMS race last Spring. They were unique in that they were silver trim not gold and in the old fashion style with yellow and red solid bars not the awful 3D stuff Porsche vends currently. I didnt own the car at the time, but they made a perfect match with the GT silver sports seat backs. I dont have the vendor name but I suspect will be there at Mid Ohio again.
