Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
If I get close to the wear sensor, i change the pads, mainly because I'm too lazy and cheap to wait and then have to replace the sensors.

Use brake cleaner spray to spray at the pads to clean them up some.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Recently my brakes started to squeak so I pulled the wheels to take a look at the pad and rotor wear and everything looked pretty normal. The rotors were nice and smooth with no grooves. The pads though are getting close to needing replacement.
In my opinion I have a some days left on the pads. No DEs anytime soon but I am about to take a 600mile round trip and want to be sure I am safe with the amount of pad left. I have a decent amount of pad still remaining right?? So why the sqeak lately?
All the rotors and pads were about the same condition.
If you have the wear sensors in place - and the brake wear light isn't on - you can continue on with no worries.
As for the pics - it looks like you have about 1/2 of your pad left (if not more). I run mine down to a couple mm before I change them. For daily driving, I say you have at least a month of pad left.
Not sure why they are squeaking, but you might just have to wear them down a bit more for it to go away.
BTW, mine squeak all the time...

Squeak may be coming from the vibration between the pad and caliper (vs pad and rotor). I believe you can purchase a product that gets placed between the pad and caliper that fixes this. (pretty inexpensive).
To the OP, you don't say what kind of pad it is? OEM, aftermarket, etc... That can help understand the squeak.
It looks to me like you have 1/2 the pad left.... for normal street driving that is several thousands of miles not 1 month left as previously mentioned; unless you cover 3-5K miles in a month.
As someone also mentioned... your brake wear light will come on with plenty of time left on the brakes.. provided you have the sensors in place (which is the nature of the question about pads, OEM or other).
Good luck... -Paul

Yes! It was definitely an improvement over the tired (40K mile) stock suspension (non-M030). It was a nice upgrade for a street car, especially at the price you were asking. I don't understand why Porsche didn't put this on all C2 as the base suspension.
I don't worry about squeeks. I worry about grinding, metal to metal. If I have brakes that don't squeek, I consider myself lucky.
Listen for chirping(depending on the pad that can be a built in replacement signal) or brake light comes on (still have hundreds of miles left, unless it's city driving).

Looking at those pads, I'd drive it like I stole it!!!
