I thought all my life that I'd be happy with my first porsche. I love my 03 C4S, but i am not totally content. I really really want a 356 spyder, a 356 coupe, 964, 993, 944 turbo etc. I mean, i am not saying I wish I have them, I really want to pursue it. How am I going to break it to my wify (honey, I know I promised you that lake side home but plans have changed ???). Oh my god, Butze/ferdinand you bastards what have you done.

Congratulations! A few of those cars can be had for relatively little money so your wife may let it happen. Good luck. I've got my better half convinced that I need a 911SC. Now I've got to find one and a place to park it.

Very funny, ever since I got the new 996 Targa 3 months ago, I have started missing my RS America and my 997 Targa more than ever (not that I don't like the 996), and keep pondering how I would like to buy them back, not to mention adding a 356 and perhaps a late 80's Targa. I mean I actually have been spending time scanning for sale ads online for all these cars, even though there is NO chance I am going to buy any of them any time soon (wife would kill me, or at least require major $$$ for remodel, furniture, etc. first!). Oh yeh, forgot to mention that I have been lusting for one of those lately, too! There seem to be some of them around at SoCal dealers, and don't think I haven't thought about it, even made some mental calculations yesterday about the ridiculous damage if I swapped the 3 month old Targa for one (OUCH!).
