Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Gents, How do I clean the cone filter of my V-Flow (EVO) It is filled with the NYC Dirt - Hope all is well amigos

POST 2Original post

Once removed, submerge the filter into a bucket of soapy water (filter cleaner + water). Swirl it around to loosen dirty. Let it sit for a 10-15 min with some more agitation. Rinse with water and let it air dry completely. You probly don't need to oil it since it's first cleaning. I'd oil it only after a few cleaning. If you don't have filter cleaner, use car wash soap (not laundry) so the oil does not get stripped completely.

POST 3Original post

Funny thing I was about to ask the same question. How often do you wash it and when should you simply replace with a new one instead of washing/oiling ?

POST 4Original post

10k is probly a good interval, dep how dusty it is. It's easy to see it. Don't oil it at every wash. If you do, spray on the oil lightly.

POST 5Original post

Pardon my ignorance, but this filter must absolutely nothing like a K&N filter, right?
