Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I have used Blackstone for the last two oil changes I have done (I use M1 0W40).
Leading evidence: 'Use blackstone' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace i have done (i' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

The universal averages Blackstone used for my first sample was 3500k miles and one of their comments was "Wear metals in your sample were remarkable low, and you've run the oil more than twice the interval." Another comment was "You haven't hurt the oil any in the 7500 miles use, and we think you culd probably run the oil longer, if you wanted."

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

i am posting this UOA as an example of long drain use of Mobil 1 0w40, again, i realize it's not a P car but it does give an indication of the durability. Porsche engines are noted to be relatively "easy" on an oil FWIW.

I have used Blackstone for the last two oil changes I have done (I use M1 0W40). Their comments are interesting and the data will be more interesting as I get more samples. It would be interesting to do if from the beginning as a new car. I usually change at about 7500-8000 miles. I have 60k on my engine as of the last change. My numbers are significantly less than those in the link.
PCNA requires all USA based dealers to use
Southwest Research Institute
for their fluid sample program. Basically any Porsche with major engine problems during the first 2 years of its life is sampled. So I'm wondering if anyone here has any experience with them?
I might suggest Terry Dyson at

he knows his stuff. he will interpret your results and give you specific oil recommendations based on your cars usage.
This topic comes up so often it's kind of funny. All I have to say is that Porsche has some pretty decent engineers, and they probably (you think?
) know what they're talking about, so why go against their oil change intervals?
I'll answer my own question with a few reasons why:
1. Peace of mind. It won't hurt the car, and it makes you feel happy, so you do it. As long as you have money to burn, go for it!
2. You track the car. Nuff said, you should probably be doing it more often.
3. You don't believe that Porsche intervals are accurate.
